Views and opinions to be honest. If I can find one for under £12k (manual/petrol) then im seriously thinking of buying.

So, the cactus has only been out since Sept 2014, so a 64 plate is the oldest youre going to find.

Im not going to become a human brochure but ive linked you to the citroen version.

Its a strange car to drive. The base model touch engines are a bit lifeless and limp.

The Feel and Flair models on the other hand have a bit more kick to them.
          Especially the Flair 1.6 Diesel.

Its all about the customisation of the car to be totally honest.
You have more boot space than youll ever need as well as not so roomy back leg room.
The 7" touch screen is really easy to use, and theres been no real reports of issues with those.

Middle and top models standard with your usual USB, Bluetooth and aux connections.

Personally 2nd hand youd be lucky to find the top model at that sort of price range.
Ive linked in a few cars that are at dealers.

Ive gone from sitting at my desk being shot in the face by a hello yellow basic model,
to loving the cars, and theres alot to love about them.

          Total Martmite sort of situation:star:

            Thanks

Ive had a sit in one at my local Citroen dealer and have read plenty on them so just wanted an owners perspective rather than the sales blerb or spec sheet. The car will rarely be used on anything other than an A road, needs to accommodate a new driver (1.2 engine ideal). The large boot is ideal as it will be used to move my two (large) dogs around, like I said performance isn't an issue, I have a mapped DSport for that.

Well for practicality its awesome. Space, simple interior and its super light. Sounds ideal really. And the back windows are slightly tinted, which can hide lunch break naps from the judgemental shoppers in tesco car park...

Had a Cactus for a few weeks, and as a workhorse it was pretty good
Sits up a bit high for me, but comfy ride

Didn't like the rear cameras screen, as there are couple blind spots which caused me to almost take out a low slung brick wall
                Reversing sensors are better

This one is in Maldon mate, with a bit of haggling you could get it for the price you want, if you don't mind yellow

Go for dark grey with black bumps - looks ace.

I've been driving the 82 PureTech engine for a while after having the BlueHDI 100, to be honest with you the small engine is fine and a bit of a giggle to drive, the only thing it loses out on it mid range due to the lower torque levels. The drive of the Cactus is very good and hold well to the road, this is helped by the lightness of the car, but in high winds the car doesn't behave like a light vehicle. Space in the back and boot is good but bear in mind the boot does have a high lip, some people have mentioned that they find the drivers seat uncomfortable but I think this is due the lower lumber design and it's a case of getting used to it.

Control functions through the touch screen does take a moment to get the hang off but in normal day to day driving you will only be using two systems - Radio and AC. There is no CD player in the car but both the Feel and Flair are fitted with USB ports.

I've been driving them for a while and can honestly say that I love the drive, comfort, handling as well as the looks.

Spec wise you would be better off looking for either Feel or Flair but it boils down to whether you want to pay extra for the auto features that the Flair is fitted with.

Could do you a deal on the Feel I'm driving but you'll have to come and get it
