Remote central locking

Hi guys. Just got back with my new car! Yay! Love it at the minute, just one question so far though, the dealer said it was central locking but didn't have a remote key? Is this right or am I being fobbed off?

I'm pretty sure the DStyle Plus should have remote central locking, Bigfeet will be able to confirm though.

Thank you, I thought so too. I'll drop them a call! Also when I went to view it the other day the sales man said he thinks the remote key is 'in the back'.

Looks like even DSign models (trim level below yours) have "Remote central locking with deadlocks" info here.

My 2012 DStyle has remote central locking so one would assume a newer DStyle Plus would

All models except the DSport should come with one remote rob.

The DSport comes with two.

Update:

I have had a reply saying they are dealing with it now and I should expect a call from the AA to arrange to come and sort out a remote key, when I get the key, do I need to check anything except that it locks, unlocks and the mirrors fold?

Is it fitted with power folding door mirrors? They aren't (or weren't when I bought mine) standard on the DStyle, although they may be on the Plus. If they fold when you lock the car with the key there should be no problem with folding using the remote control.

I would make sure you get an original Citroen key. I vaguely remember someone else having the AA come out it was a generic remote key.

Yes my mirrors fold in when I lock it with the key. If it isn't a generic Citroen key will it not do the job?
