Yes my mirrors fold in when I lock it with the key. If it isn't a generic Citroen key will it not do the job?

I'm sure it will work but personally I'd rather have the same key that came with the car, not some cheap version that will just 'do the job' because the dealer is too cheap to provide a genuine key.

You will need to make sure it starts the engine too - the most important function.

As Beefy said, I would ask the dealer to provide you with an original Citroen key rather than the cheaper AA version

Get the correct key, as a dealer there is no way I would accept your car as a part exchange with a 'funny' key.
