OK so first car was a crappy Red MG Maestro...bought for 200 quid, drove the nuts off it, crashed it several times into ditches, hedges, trees and one stone wall - that thing was a tank...then sold it for 275 quid!
Then moved on to a red Nova GSi - stuffed in the old 2.0 16v Astra lump and drove it everywhere...eventually it was stolen from my Uni digs never to be seen again. Really missed that and couldn't afford another car for a few years after that being a student. BUT I did have a job at the local Renault dealership originally just washing the forecourt and prepping for new car collections. This was my first time I saw the Williams, and then the Spider....great to drive.
So when I got my first job - I went out and bought the Williams 2..still have it to this day. Although now it is back in the UK in storage. A few years ago it underwent a total rebuild with all new parts everywhere fitted to it, so now drives like new but it only has about 65k miles on it. Only mods to it are a full Magnex system and a new panel filter, and a little tweak to the map. Nothing major as I want to keep it that way it is. Not exactly fast by today's standards, but such good fun to drive when you are on the right road.
After this, and thanks to a nice little contract to design a VR system for Jag/Land Rover I then went out and bought the WR1. I had been around Impreza rally cars for a few years spannering in service for a couple of friends..so now it was time to buy my own. Perfect for the roads and weather up here in Finland. I got it modded right away in the UK before I drove it up here. Full exhaust system, Motec M800 ecu with DCCD map and anti-lag, FMIC, new turbo, injectors, BC coilovers and an uprated Performance Friction brake set up. I guess it is running at about 420bhp and 450nm. I also had the engine heater fitted for cold mornings.
Then came the Ford Raptor as a company truck, and the WR1 went back to the UK to keep the Clio company. My brother takes them out now and again to keep everything ticking over. This is a beast of a truck, 6.2l V8 with 450bhp...it is a tad thirsty though...but worth it.
Now I have the DS3 - no pics yet - and in the New Year I will start adding bits to it and see how it goes. I just wanted something smaller to potter around in when I don't need the truck.
Oh yeah, Mrs runs a Evoque TD4 and I couldn't resist putting new rims on it and a matching roof box!
That's it....that's me. No bikes - although really want to build my own, and as yet no summer toy either....One day.
