I have to say it's really good fun, as soon as you hit the loud(?) pedal the power is right there for you, the ride is comfortable and it's pretty well equipped.

I'd never buy one though, they look hideous and I'd be living in constant fear of running out of battery. That said I'd love to one day own a hybrid, you pretty much get the best of both worlds.

Leads me to wondering why we didn't see a hybrid DS3 at last week's launch?

If you come down to the London Motor Show in May it's definitely worth taking the cable car over the river and going for a test drive inside Nissan's brand experience centre in The O2.

Hmm I take it they've gone quiet on it since? It's interesting because we've got a hybrid DS5 and going hybrid/electric would suit the direction DS want to take the brand.
I get the sense it's not a question of if we'll see a full/part electric DS3, it's more a question of when. I get the feeling we're still a few years off!

I had 1.1 Peugeot 106, it got wrote off not by my own fault. Got t boned. Then got my favourite , a 1.1 Citroen saxo. Must reliable car ever lol. Had to get rid of it due to mot up and couldn't afford costs of getting things repaired. If I had the room I would have kept it. Then a 1.8 ford focus diesel. Horrible car. Was a quick buy and just didn't gel with it. Then I got my 1.6 dsport ds3. Car ive been wanting for a very long time! Love it! thats my car history

My DS3 is only the second car I've had that's been my own. Had a 2006 Toyota Aygo before which was great fun... until it leaked like many Mk1 Aygos did.

Lots of Citroen heritage in my family (grew up with Citroens... 2CVs, AXs, BXs and a horrendous Xsara) so the DS3 has been good fun and very different to those Citroens of the 80s/90s.

Not sure I'll have another after this one but we'll see what happens!
