        Fixed your link

You don't have to pay for My Car Check, usually the first page will give the make / model / engine / BHP etc.

Look on the bright side the 120vti is a sound reliable engine. About the only thing you can say bad about it are some mild oil leaks and the coolest temp sensor. Unlike the THP's that have a host of issues

I had the 120 for 4 years We racked up 75k miles in that time and the only faults where the two (I'm lucky like that) that Cyclone mentioned. Both minor and easily fixed

There isn't much you can do re mods to increase BHP, remaps, filter change etc are all going to be single figure gains.

Style over speed is much more fun, you can do things that people can actually see an appreciate!

This is a great place to start on the 120 mods and ideas - http://www.ds3club.co.uk/showthread....rogress-thread

You bought a car without finding out a minor detail like that?

Exactly, i go into fine detail when researching any purchase, buying a car without know what engine it has is madness.
