  • Squealing brakes

My brakes keep squeezing and squealing. Does anyone else have this problem and how do I sort it. Iv checked the pads loads on them. Guessing it's disks dirty but seeing if anyone else has problem and how they sorted it

The most likely cause is calipers & pads not moving freely. The cure is to remove the calipers & pads, clean everything, lubricate sparingly everywhere there's metal to metal contact & replace. Pay especial attention to the caliper pins & make sure that the pads can move freely in the calipers.

It's possible you got some grit better the pad and the disc. Happened to me recently. Like mentioned above a good clean should resolve this.

And me Pete, last year I think, it scored the back of the discs but they still last 41k before I replaced them (discs and pads)

The new ones from EBC Brakes Direct are much better (grooved discs and green stuff pads)
