Service indicator after service

Hi all, i had my ds3 recently serviced at begining of june. Ive done maybe a thousand miles since then, and ive noticed when starting the car the wee spanner the mileage keeps going down. Only until today i looked it up and it means thats when its due next service. This cant be right surely?

Should i ring up the dealer i bought it off? Thanks for any help.

You can either get the dealer who serviced it to reset or reset it yourself, it's in the manual.
