New Year Resolutions

New year, new resolutions (or restart old ones)

Anyone got any for this year?

"Statistics tell us that as many as 62 percent of us make New Year’s resolutions — but only 8 percent will actually be successful in achieving their goals. "

Mine are more like New Years Amitions (short and long term, no particular order)

1) To be at least 1% better each day than the day before - by the end of the year, I'd be 365% better :cool:

2) Pay off car

3) New Job

4) Be more adventurous

5) New Apartment

6) Generate multiple income steams

7) Landscape work on farm

8) Take my photography to the next level

9) Make it to more car shows

10) And mostly to enjoy each day as it comes

- A good start so far

I wouldn't say they are resolutions, like you they are more goals for 2017 for me

• Buy a house with Liam
• Drink less
• When in new house, concentrate more on my craft empire
• Do more with my weekends
• Oh, and continue to make DS3Club awesome for owners!!

If you're going for improving 1% on the previous day rather than the original state, you'd actually end up 3678% cooler!

Starting state @ 31/12/16 = 100%

1% increase per day = x 1.01

100 x (1.01)^365 = 3778 (minus the original 100% = 3678% cooler than the start)

Which makes you probably the coolest person on Earth! :cool:

As for my resolution, it's to get out more lol.

Mine are:

* go vegan!
* drink less alcohol/drink more water.
* reign in my spending, particularly on Lush products, and save more money for a deposit so we can buy a house in a year or two.

Ahh mate don't, its hard! i was up £800 quid in dec, and overall for the year im up £1800, so it is hard to stop. but gambling is bad, like isis.

Oh and the most disturbing one......still haven`t bought anything else for my DS3.....But that could easily change!

My resolutions were:

* go vegan! Going well! Still eating up the last non-vegan foods at home but only buying/eating vegan food when we go shopping/out for dinner etc
* drink less alcohol/drink more water. Definitely drinking less alcohol
* reign in my spending, particularly on Lush products, and save more money for a deposit so we can buy a house in a year or two. This is going okay - I've only been to Lush twice since the New Year, and haven't bought any online either! Saving isn't going great, but we've just moved house and have had to buy bits and bobs as we were in a shared house previously.

2 months on, how is everyone getting on?!

Hahahaa... Slowly but surely...

Got myself a new job, new from the last new job in the new year xD (I'll include being more adventurous in this one)
Farm work slowly about to start. Video surveillance done, now just quotes etc needed
Generating multiple income streams: Well made 1 more stream so far

So not too bad so far :P
