Not sure about this if im honest. Seems a money making scheme as im sure the course will cost more than the £60 you would have to pay normally http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-13022347
Remember a story a friend told me once, he was traveling south from Inverness to Perth and moving on bit in the outside lane. Then a patrol car came along side and the Police driver just looked across at my friend and waved his finger as to said "tut tut", then the police car slowed down and turned off the carriageway. My friend immediately also slowed down then and continued on his way staying at a steady 60/70mph feeling a little embarrassed.
...I should never have doubted the Lord of Bacon!!
For every one those safe drivers at the national speed limit, there are are a high percentage that think they're safe and they're not, and an even higher percentage that are downright dangerous.
You might thing your safe hammering it along the motorway at 85mph, but what about the 69 yr old partially sighted goon who hasn't declared their eyesight problem and thinks it's totally safe to pull out in front?
Or the drunk driver who makes completely random manoeuvres?
The course has been available for a while in most places, however what the story is about is you can now go on it when you ave been caught at higher speeds. As the course is more expensive than taking the ticket its an easy way to make money.
Liam if you are going to moan to me please do it via pm.
