Not sure about this if im honest. Seems a money making scheme as im sure the course will cost more than the £60 you would have to pay normally

I Think Its A Good Idea,

I'd Rather Attend A Course Rather Than Have The Points =D

Oh And For Those Who Are Interested... Had My Summons In The Post Yesterday For My Speeding Back In November lol

Sometimes education is better than punishment.

Remember a story a friend told me once, he was traveling south from Inverness to Perth and moving on bit in the outside lane. Then a patrol car came along side and the Police driver just looked across at my friend and waved his finger as to said "tut tut", then the police car slowed down and turned off the carriageway. My friend immediately also slowed down then and continued on his way staying at a steady 60/70mph feeling a little embarrassed.

For every one those safe drivers at the national speed limit, there are are a high percentage that think they're safe and they're not, and an even higher percentage that are downright dangerous.

You might thing your safe hammering it along the motorway at 85mph, but what about the 69 yr old partially sighted goon who hasn't declared their eyesight problem and thinks it's totally safe to pull out in front?
Or the drunk driver who makes completely random manoeuvres?

                lol >.>

empty road no one was hurt! should just be a fine and thats it!

if i hurt someone whilst speeding then i should be punished to the max.

since the road laws havnt changed much since the stone ages.. cars can stop alot faster now!

Its a good thing in the sense that they are trying to educate road users. There is a scheme here done by the Met that is more or less the same.

I don't think the course in itself is a money making scheme as i agree that the courses should be charged at X amount.

Yer I'm sure most people would rather pay more for the course than get points.

The course has been available for a while in most places, however what the story is about is you can now go on it when you ave been caught at higher speeds. As the course is more expensive than taking the ticket its an easy way to make money.

Been on one of these courses.
It was a crock of condescending shit.

Courses are only as good as the people listening. As for 46 in a 30 thats just silly , clear open road or not.
