Temp to high stop engine

Hi... After getting Bella back on the road the new issue... Whilst driving on the motorway No
ENGINE MAN light but ENGINE TEMP TO HIGH STOP THE VEHICLE....pulled over phoned AA..he said
no obv leak but coolant was a bit low so topped it up and follwed us home with no issues. I go for
a test run today gt the engine up to temp high revs low revs heater on low temp but the needle sticks to staying
in the middle. I heard n seen from other posts about faultly sensor but my car is 2011 150thp .Only just back from
a rebuild few weeks ago as piston gubbed etc. Could prob be solved ? was it an Airbubble in colant system? or is there a recall for temp sensor
or common issue i dont know about.

There is a temp sensor recall for some models, ask your local Citroen dealer to check your car's recall status.
