DS4 deliveries?

I drive on the m25 everyday and see lots of car transporters. Saw a lorry full of DS3's followed by a lorry with a few of what looks like DS4. They could be C4's but they had the stylish alloys and chrome. Could be some dealer testers?

He has also taken a DS4 out for a drive!

Had a good look at it while my car was serviced last week.

The first batch of DS4's will have now been delivered to dealers across the country, our is in our showroom at the moment as we are waiting for our Black demo to arrive.

Went to the introduction of the DS4 at my dealership yesterday and a BIG BIG minus is the fact that the rear windows are fixed (can't be opened). Can't understand the designers on this one.

at the launch they said its a 5 door coupe... so that's why the rear windows dont open because none of the 3 door coupe ones will open... awesome...................

I think the answer to that question is obvious. Lol.

The DS4 is designed to be a Coupe, but has access doors for the rear which is why the windows do not open. If the car was a true three door then the windows wouldn't open anyway so Citroen decided to style to car in the way it is as adding rear opening windows would spoil the lines that they had made.

The other thing is the 5 door nature is aimed at the fleet market where many fleets insist on 5 door cars and this allows the DS4 to sneak in while looking like a coupe.

You can cal it a 4door or a coupe, whatever, but a Panamera is also called a 4door coupe and..... Anyway, not gonna start a yes/no game here. For me personal it's a "no can do".
