I had an interesting night last night following everything that was happening on Twitter. All seemed so distant apart from the helicopter flying directly overhead. It all became real when the Canning Circus police station was 'fire-bombed'. When that appeared on my Twitter feed it was time to leave the pub that was 400m down the road from the station.
Last night the Police did a sterling job of acting quickly to any reports in a bid to minimise the damage. The public were kept informed through the Notts police website and twitter feed as well. I don't think they can be thanked enough for their efforts in this mindless, illogical and pointless violence.Proud owner of missing wonky stickersComment
