  • Setting up a forum

I'm thinking of setting up a site like this with a forum. I run a small training company and want to give students that are doing the courses somewhere to ask questions, exchange experiences etc. This would also be open to anyone studying Childcare, not just our own students.

I was wondering how hard it is to set up? Would those people involved in running this site recommend the vbulletin software? Does someone have to deal with registrations or is it automatic.

I assume that you buy the software then have to upload it to a hosting site?

As you can see I'm starting from scratch so any help or advice would be most welcome!
