Perfect holiday?

Totally off-topic but i was wondering whats your idea of a perfect holiday?

I recently went on my first cruise two weeks ago, a 3 days cruise to Belgium, the weather wasnt tropical so there was a bit of movement, but other then that i really enjoyed it and its not at all what i was expecting. Will deff be booking another one for 2012! Anybody else cruised?

Seen a few Caribbean/Bahamas cruises on the website below ...........very tempting! Or even a Disney cruise cause im a massive kid!!

i bin to the maldives twice and sri lanka once. i gotta say i think the maldives is the closest to paradise i cud ever imagine

An over-water bungalow in Tahiti takes some beating.

Can also agree with matt, Sri Lanka is a lovely place and the Maldives is a "no news, no shoes" type of place, although only go there if you want total R & R.

Hawaii is also a fantastic place to visit and I also love the Far East, where there are some beautiful places to visit and the people are very friendly.

I've got my perfect holiday- Guns of Navarone today followed by Bridge on the River Kwai and Where Eagles Dare tommorow. Just need Zulu, Great Escape or Escape to Victory to round it off. lol

For me a good holiday involves lots of driving! This year (soon to be last year!) was one of the best - 2,700 miles around Texas in a Dodge Challenger R/T (that's the one with the 5.7 litre Hemi V8), ending in Dallas for NASCAR at Texas Motor Speedway. Life doesn't get much better!

Deff got me in the holiday mood especially with our rubbish English weather! I would love to visit the Bahamas Atlantis Paradise Island.

Just done my 2 weeks in Balearics- usually go to Canary islands
Stonking hot first 3 days, so much so that a plane skimmed the beach close to us to pick water up and dump on the mountains behind that were on fire. Amazing site but always refuse to take my phone on holiday so didnt video it

Then absolutley poured for an evening(Foot high torrent down the road next to our hotel heading for the sea)

Cant beat St Lucia with a posh all inc- marvellous
Back to Tenerife for Christmas- yipee

I've been to Japan four times purely to select my koi carp - umm I don't quite view it as a holiday, but I guess it is!

Perhaps detailing with the top pros in the world for a week too...

In terms of family stuff, I've guess some of the out of the way places have been good, off the beaten track...
