Using a hairdryer, warm the badge up, using your fingers, see if the badge is moving a little bit, if it is you're good to go. Get dental floss and remove the badge (like in a saw motion moving from top to bottom). Once the badge is removed, use an adhesive removal product to clear away any excess gunk.
My car is black too so what you'll find is that you'll need abit of black car polish just to buff the area so it matches the rest of the car.
