Ds3 strange noise

Anyone got any idea what would cause the high pitched squeal like a hydraulic surge. Happens twice in the video.

Sounds like something rubbing, rubber gaiter or something, could be something dragging like brakes
Can you feel it thru the steering column?

Not sure if it could be PAS. Checked PAS fluid?

where does the noise sounds like its coming from- the wheel?

No PAS fluid on ds3 its electric power steering.

Nothing rubbing, the noise is if this is right a lot quicker sounding than if it was a rubbing effect. Can happen if almost stationary. It appears to come from the nearside front. Although it's quite hard to pinpoint as have to have bonnet open and chase the car with my head in the engine bay. Not good news that its electric power steering as i was hoping it was as simple as a power steering pump.

If it is power steering (But would it be on the nearside? as steering column is offside) its a specialist

May have to take it in

So the saga continues! We now have a metalic rattle when cold only in first and second and has to be in gear moving, doesn'tdo it in neutral. Goes in third and doesn't do it hot. Any clues gratefully received
