Dart Board Query

Hi

I bought myself a darts board with a surround cabinet for 35 euro in the home base.
Going to set it up in my bedroom.

Could anybody tell me the correct distance I should be from the board when throwing darts and also the height I should have on the wall?

I have played darts in pubs etc but never actually thought of the distance needed to be away from the board to ensure I am playing legally within the rules.

So how far do I need to be away and how high should I put it on the wall

No worries, setting up your new dartboard is easier than you think! The "official" distance from the board to the front of your throwing line (oche) is 2.37 meters (7' 9 ¼") for steel tip darts and 2.44 meters (8') for soft tip. As for height, the center of the bullseye should be 1.73 meters (5' 8") from the floor. Remember, these are just guidelines, and you can adjust slightly for comfort or space limitations.
