    A few of mine:

    - The sun visors must always be closed on leaving the vehicle, even if returning in 10 seconds time on a sunny day.
    - The seats must be put back, even if returning in 10 seconds and someone is getting in the back.
    - The rear headrests must be returned to the fully down position, even if returning in 10 seconds and someone is getting in the back.
    - Anyone moving the seats with the wrong handle (the bottom one) is immediately killed, even if being watched by the police.
    - Anyone leaving rubbish in the door pockets or anywhere within the car is immediately killed, except my good lady who is becoming a repeat offender... She will be killed in due time!
    - Always press lock twice to hear the clunk, still get paranoid about 5 minutes later about whether i've left it open.
    - I hate dirty car! 8 hour clean anyone?

    Non-car related.
    - Getting dressed in the morning must always go in the following order - underwear, socks, shirt, pants.
    - Getting undressed must be the reverse of the above.
    - I find myself re-arranging things on my desk on a regular basis.

Ahh... Feels better now they're out in the open. Loving the thread.

Will admit I'm like Sheldon from the Big Bang and have my 'spot' in the front room and I go into a panic if someone else sits there!

Yea, locking the car is a big thing for me. press the button twice, then a third to see the lights flash and still try the door handle.
Hate the rear head rests been left up. gota be down before i drive off, or i pull over an sort them out.
Then when iv left the car im constantly checking iv still got the car key. like its gona sprout legs and arms an escape outa my bag!!

Umm makes me feel better seeing this! I think we all have these little things one way or another, and you just have to hope they stay 'sensible' (because in a way they are addictions!)....

I could probably list a few too - anyway can't stop my car needs its third wash of the day.

                Thanks,
                Clive.

I do the headrest thing in all our family cars. Who leaves them up?! WHO ARE YOU?!

My front seats have to be in exactly the same position side by side, base and back.

I go round the car and check the passenger doors and boot to make sure they're all locked because I know one day, those flashing lights will lie to me.

Tangled cables are a HUGE source of annoyance to me. I spend ages untangling all the battery charger cables at work, laying them out and lining up the chargers side by side. This got me laughed at recently.

The worst cables are curly phone ones. If they have that little kink in them (you know...when they get spun around) I will spend however long is necessary, ignoring staff, customers, house fires etc., until they are all wound out correctly.

I can't stand people opening crisp packets at the bottom. That's why they have designs on them! To show which end to open them!

Thats how trainees/apprentices should be taught to leave slotted heads. So water and condensation can drop out the slot

This post inspired me to go take care of my car. I decided to wash it using the two bucket method - one bucket of washing up water to wash with and one bucket of clean water to rinse my sponge in when I had finished. Played the radio to keep me amused as it took me over half an hour to wash it properly!!! Played radio 3 right up on volume 13.
Inside it was my lucky day - I found half a sandwich I had forgotten about. I cleaned behind the passenger seat as someone had left it forward last month. I even cleaned the mirror on the one visor that was down. I didn't bother cleaning the door pockets though as they were full of old crisp bags.
Once it looked the way I wanted it, I turned, locked it once, and went for a cup of tea!
