Anyone off to the Olympics

We put in for about 10 pairs of tickets- all the sexy athletic events, tai kwon do, cycling, swimming and we did end up getting a pair of tickets. Yippee!
Yep- not the Olympic park stadium, not the opening ceremony or 100 metres heats or finals , we won the WOMENS WEIGHLIFTING and so we are off to the EXCEL stadium this Friday 3rd August for our day at the OLYMPICS. Not top of our list but at least we are part of it, and am sure it will be envigorating to attend. Medal ceremony too.

Wonder if anyone else is going and what tips you have- items to take/ not to take, travel to venues, prices of stuff inside

If I had the energy I would have put in for the BMX and some of the sailing events but I lack any energy for travelling 500 miles anywhere near the south during the olympics...even in my ds3

we applied for diving, wrestling and cycling...

got diving - went yesterday - great day
and wrestling - in two weeks time...

wrestling was the wild card to try and ensure we got something!

Yep I'm working at City of Coventry Stadium [normally Ricoh Arena]

Working as a technician for the arena sound [music / video clips / stadium annoucements and pitch side commentry etc …
