What was achieved during the Apollo missions should be an inspiration to us all. To think that they were able to get men into space, let alone onto the surface of the moon, using space craft that seem so primitive compared to the technologies we have available to us today. I'd imagine our cars have more processing power than the machines that transported these men through the dark emptiness of space.

Armstrong was all the more inspirational because of his modesty towards his accomplishments. He will always be remembered and that is the least that he deserves.

For those who may ask what they can do to honor Neil, we have a simple request. Honor his example of service, accomplishment and modesty, and the next time you walk outside on a clear night and see the moon smiling down at you, think of Neil Armstrong and give him a wink.

I was pretty gutted when I heard yesterday- end of an era. All we have right now is the stupid ISS in terms of Manned space flight and China's efforts.

We need more Neil Armstrongs in this world and alot more visionarys.
