I absolutely love Min's! My first car was a Mini, did her up etc. Used to help run the North East Mini Club, parked 500 mini's on Roker pier for cancer back in 95.
BMW merely bought a brand- they did not buy the appeal, the quirkiness and overall Britishness of the Mini. Thus they are a BMW 1/2 series with a few different flavourshttp://db.tt/tJZ0ZQG1
