Obviously depends on what she likes / needs but I always find perfume to be a safe bet.

For my girlfriend I normally get a gift set of her preferred brand, they usually start selling them in Boots around this time (bottle of perfume and moisturiser or whatever).

If they really dont go for that:
1. wake up Christmas day with hangover- straight to an ice cold glass of Champers from the Fridge.
2. Finish bottle and put TV on, put on Songs of Praise start singing at top of your voice
3. Get second bottle out and crack the Cognac out at same time- put small cognac in Champers
4. Put on Top of Pops and finish Champers- go goggle eyed watchin all the dancers on TOTPs.
5. Now youre bodys used to the Cognac- finish that and go to bed
6. Day Over- Simples

Did that all the time when I was single- worked a treat
