      There are three questions here.

Firstly, evidence that he has received a fine and that he has paid it.

Secondly, if you have any legal obligation to pay a fine somebody else has already paid (and thereby admitted responsibility for).

Finally, is it ethical in the eyes of his governing body to pressure a client in regards to financial remuneration for an offence the instructor has admitted responsibility for.

Don't get confused. Driving in a bus lane is a Contravention and not an Offence. There are no points on licences and no criminal act.

The instructor could still attempt to have the fine overturned if you admit responsibility.

Technically once a PCN has been paid the case is closed. In rare instances the Adjudication Service will re-open a case on request but it seems highly unlikely in this case. Remember also a PCN is Owner Liability i.e. the registered keeper of the vehicle is responsible for the penalty (it's not a fine). Just about the only exception to this is with a hire car where the hirer only has a legal obligation to say who was hiring the car at the time of the contravention to be freed from responsibility.
