What car did you pass your test in?

Having seen photo's of the gorgeous car that Sash teaches people to drive in I had an idea for this thread so....................................

What car/cars did you learn to drive in and what car did you pass your test in?

I learned to drive in my Daytona Yellow MK3 Cortina 1.3L (PNH 898 R) and the driving instructors Mini. I took and passed my test in the Mini way back in 1980

We did not have digital camera's and the like back then (or mobile phones) so I have had to find a couple of car's on the internet that look the same

I learnt in my Fiesta 1.4s and my instructor had a Micra I think! Although on the day of my test he got a new car which power steering! He gave me four hours in the morning for free to get used to it!

Flippen heck that is HUGE I could have fit my instructors Mini in the boot! That is the type of car my Dad used to call a Shooting Brake.

I actually learnt in my Mk1 diesel clio, took my test in her too!

I had a new car every lesson so I didn't know which car was mine to use in the car park on the day of the test. ha ha luckily it had remote central locking!
