  • South Downs Hotel help

Wedding anniversary coming up and wanted to take the wife to a nice hotel somewhere in the South Downs.

Anyone got any suggestions? A nice place in a nice setting, you know long gravel drive or something. Something a bit special

    Cheers

Try Mr & Mrs Smith or Bespoke Hotels, they usually will have something that might be your fancy.

I suggest Alexander House in Turners Hill, the only issue is they are adding a wing (quiet season) and they have the builders in, the house is beautiful though and it has a Spa, pretty grounds etc - http://www.alexanderhotels.co.uk/ale...FSj4wgod5w4AgQ

Let us know where you decide to go

If you've never been down the Devils Dyke, which is on top of the South Downs nr Brighton, with a decentish pub/restaurant on top of it, give it a go
35 mile views on a good day, fantastic views all round. 35 mins from Crawley

It's a b&b called Windfalls, seemed to have nothing but great reviews on trip adviser
