If You Found £1000...........

I have a bank account that I use now and again to hold spare funds I may need to access from work. The current Mrs SFG had a quick look today to see if the card was still active as I hadn't accessed it for over a year. She found there was £1032 in it. I remember moving some money over in preparation for paying for a course but ended up paying cash and forget all about it.

Being a full on Essex boy I can easily smash £200 on a decent night out so this money will pay for 5 good Friday nights out with the current Mrs SFG while I'm home.

So, if you suddenly found a spare grand in you account, what would you spend it on.

Right now, probably pick up an Xbox One with a few games and an iPad with a retina display (either a Mini or Air).

Missing the point chaps, putting it towards something is the same as me saying il just stick it back in another account. SPEND the £1k on something, I am spending it on beer, wine, food and cabs .

As I would have done that anyway it will go on my geeky PC hobby so.

£357 on a second 780GTX Graphics card for my main gaming PC
£79 on a full cover water block for the above
£438 on a Iiyama 27" AH-IPS Pro LED Monitor
And a few quid on some tubing and fittings

Ah ok, in that case a day at Palmer Motorsport, went there a couple of years back with work (was about £850ish then) and had a great day being coached to drive Racing M3's, Caterham 7s, Ariel Atoms etc

Good quality kitchen/cooking equipment if I had to spend it.
Prefer to save it = bring forward retirement by a month = a months less work
