very nice indeed. watched an interesting video on the bmw i3 in that if you want to go on a long distance journey then BMW will lend you a normal car.

Thought that was a good idea from BMW.

Electric cars are pointless. Where do you think the electricity comes from? Yep coal fired power stations, buying an electric car is like sweeping the dirt under the rug.

I agree Biggie, the next issue will be how to deal with the batteries once they are no good anymore, I see the latest Prius ad's do make it clear that there is an additional monthly charge for 'battery rental' so you have the power from the electricity grid and then landfill for the batteries ?

We do have hydrogen cars as the moment, the Honda clarity for one, but its the mass storage of hydrogen that is holding things back. Personally I'm waiting for Fusion power...
