About 5 seconds. It's amazing how much extra light a long exposure pulls in too.

I got a nikon D5000 at xmas so only just starting out, been taking pictures of the dogs mostly!

D5000? Was it new?

Really liking the second shot.

Yep it was a new one, good price because of the newer version.

I prefer it to the D5100. The autofocus is appallingly slow on that. If anyone tells you to upgrade to a 5100, DON'T.
