This world-renowned annual exhibition at the Natural History Museum provides a spotlight on the rarely seen wonders of the natural world.

The 100 winning images that will be on show are selected from 1,000s of international entries and are beautifully displayed in sleek backlit installations.

Seriously though it would be cool to enter and have a wildlife thread, I would need to brush up my skills as I have only caught on camera humping bugs.....

Seriously though it would be cool to enter and have a wildlife thread, I would need to brush up my skills as I have only caught on camera humping bugs.....

Maybe I could start a thread for different areas of photography? Just as each as a gallery and a place to share similar photos and see how people capture the theme?

• Landscapes
• Wildlife
• Food and drink
• Dawn/Dusk
• Domestic animals
• Weather
• Music (festvals/concerts etc)

And so on?

Nothing competitive - just a thread gallery.

I would go with that, would be nice to see what folks have done.

Another suggestion is a subject thread, say like you post a subject such as lamposts and then we can upload our shots of that.

Sounds a really good idea, best brush up on my photography. Plus iv got loads a pets to take photos of!
