Blimey! glad she is all right. We have loads of deer round here and I often see dead ones in the road. Couple of friends of mine have written off cars when they have hit them as well.

A deer once ran out in front of me on Mull but instead of running across it ran straight down the road!
I was breaking hard as the deer was accellerating and in the end I just touched its bottom as I slowed and it got away.
Close shave, glad for no damage and glad for a magnificent animal not to be hurt.
Glad nobody was hurt here (except maybe the deer!)

Happened to my Dad a couple of years back in his 2 week old car. They have sooo many deer in his area.

Damn, know that feeling though, hit a kangaroo in my 205 a few years ago. Poor things, and they can do a bunch of damage.

Glad no one was hurt (except the deer, presumably). Some years ago a friend of my dad's hit a loose black horse at night on an unlit road. The car was written off and he woke up in hospital without a clue what had happened but thankfully made a full recovery. The horse was not so fortunate and had to be destroyed at the scene :-(
