My new DS3 Dsport Plus THP 63 plate Sport red and black with black Bellone wheels
Thanks for your very extensive reply. You must obviously clean cars professionally and your long list of detailed work in your post is far more extensive a work than I could do with my very limited car cleaning experience.
I think with a few good quality products and cleaning mitts etc as advised by you I could do a better job than currently.
I have not used machine polishers before and using these is not something that I believe I could have the skill to use anyway and would leave those to the professionals.
Thanks
Glenn

Not a professional at all Glenn, just have a good knowledge of when/what and how to use a product to achieve the desired look/end result. We all have to start somewhere.
I am actually a financial fraud investigator by trade.

Yes I suppose we all have to start somewhere, it was just from your detailed list of treatments it appeared to me that you
had been detailing for a long time and obviously knew your stuff.
The results though are impressive to see.
Whats the colour of your upper dash area Glen. The central console bit is piano black I think, but cant quite make out the upper dash (Above glove box) is it grey?
Hi Chris - The dash is carbonfibre black effect as Robbo51 said.
This is standard on the DSport Plus models, and piano black around the lower console (heating controls area, radio and gear lever).
The photo that I took probably makes the dash finish look a different colour to the actual finish.
My previous Giulietta had an Aluminium effect dashboard.
Glenn.
Its strange how the Sport Red seems to have different shades
This shade is the same as my last Sport red DS3, when my current one seems just a tidge darker red
It's only been polished with morrisons car polish and not an expensive car polish.
Used Triplewax shampoo before polish. It's only 17 days old though so still bright finish.
