For those of you that asked, this is what I have gone for. Delivered 11.30 am today, first pic Ive posted online

Loved the DS3, but wanted something faster without modifying....which the THP engine didn't seem to like.

Will be getting a DS3 again, which will be modified for fun, but for now will make do with this:





Will be hanging around this Forum, if that's ok, as expect to be back for modifying advice. Still love the DS3..

Took a bit of advice from you to be honest... can be remapped to 370BHP

I've never liked golfs till a friend of mine got one just like yours just in blue, he beats me every time from a standstill but not from 50 tho

He's is unmodified 292hp, but I've seen stage 2 remaps with 350hp, and also seen theres a DSG remap too, if your going that way...

Thanks all. Done 60 miles so far, and when you press the pedal in 2/3/4 gear, whoooosh, hang on to your seat.

Great car the R I had a play in one when they first came out but a bit rich for me

Great car Chris - congrats !!! One of my colleagues at work has the Cabrio R, a bit slower than yours but that is still v impressive.

Will you wait out the warranty before getting any engine mods done ?
