Not sure if you'd consider this an upgrade or a downgrade.
Friday last week I hit a white line on the way into work on a particularly cold morning, first frost of the year. Said line gave my rear wheel a bit of a wobble and proceeded to send me into a full-blown tank slapper at 40mph at peak time on the A6 into Manchester.
For anyone taking that route on Friday, apologies for any delays - it took a short while for the Ambulance crew to arrive and another 5 hours on a backboard in A&E accompanied by the mother and WTF before they kicked me out with a couple of battered ribs and bruises.
It's the final piece in the puzzle for me. I've spent enough years now getting to work quicker than most other people, I've done my fair share of wringing out wet socks first thing at work in the morning and I'm officially back on four wheels.
I'm out tomorrow morning to pick up the new girl in my life. 19k Miles on the clock with a full set of stamps every year from Mazda.
If you need me, I'll be behind the Gazebo with TomTom
