The OP said Long Eaton not Little Eaton, Long Eaton is just off the A52(BC WaY)/M1 junction. The people who live there (of which I know a few very very well) are split as to whether they are Derby or Notts folk.

As for judging, judging what, have you been to either Brecon or Merthyr, I have spent extended periods in both (more so in Brecon), its a lovely place, not so much so when you are moving at speed carrying lots of kit in typical poor whether having dropped in from 800 feet (Sennybridge obviously).
