  • A bit of advice please

    hi all,
I'm looking at getting a ds3 but with my budget all I can find are dstyle's 90 bhp diesel are these any good? how are the specs? are these the bottom of the range? But have found plenty of 120bhp vti's dstyle+.
sorry for all the questions .

Welcome! Dstyle is middle of the range. It goes Dsign, Dstyle, Dsport, and a few special in-between and also the "plus" models. Nothing wrong with the Dstyle at all though, plenty of kit for the money.

Quite a lot actually! Remap will get you around 120-130bhp for starters. Your best bet is to have a read of Zack's build thread to see what is possible with the 90bhp diesel.

          Welcome

The 90 is a great little car!!

You'll have way more fun with that compared to the 120Vti if you wanted to get more than standard from the engine.

I've spotted a ds3 white, do they have anything spec wise over the dstyle?

Same car except they are fitted with the sports seats from the DSport as well as the 17" Alloys.

I've got a 90HDi and its a little pocket rocket, plus its free to tax (if you wish to save a few pennies) and range is betwen 509 and 571 miles when you fill it right up (and if you drive economically). I recently drove to the Top gear track for a DS3 meet and im just North of Edinburgh (which was about 474 mile trip) and made it all the way with about just over 1/4 of diesel left

Mines a d-style plus. No complaints here what so ever. Economical, has power when needed. And recently found out if you're driving fast and have to hit the brakes hard, your hazard lights come on automatically.

I get over 500 miles in my 115 eHDi without driving it economically and I know the 90 eHDi's are better on mpg
