Hello everybody!!!
My name is Laurent. I am French, just as the DS3, but I leave in Brazil.
I love cars: I have been racing go-kart from my 10th birthday to my 18th, have been champion twice. I have also been racing for Peugeot in the “Rencontres Peugeot Sport” French championship, with a 206 for 2 years and half from 2005 to 2007.
After leaving here from 2007 to 2011 and getting back to France, I have moved again to Brazil, for real, in the beginning of 2014, and I bought a “rouge erythrée” DS3.
Explaining my pseudo: my DS3 is a THP 165, as every DS3 in Brazil. Well, our gasoline here contains 25% of ethanol, which gives an increase in power. The Brazilian DS3 have had some adjustments from PSA and is officially named as THP 165.
Mine is chipped (Chipwerke), with DV+ valve, Peugeot Sport special Green air filter, Pedal Commander and Tri-Dan treatment.
I am willing to change the front brake for the Brembo 406 V6 ones I have brought from my last trip to France, but still have a doubt on the fact they would fit with no other adjustment.
I have been following the forum for a while and decided to enter now to try and get information on this last upgrade.
I’ll write a topic on the subject, as I have found no other information…
