    Hi All,

Looking to buy a red DS3 Dstyle plus 2012. I noticed some peeling on the trim on the B Pillar at the top, on both sides of the car, is this a known issue/common? And if anyone has come across it before, can you advise on remedial action and costs please?
The dealer isn't overly keen to get it done before the sale and feels its part of what one would expect on a 3 year old car for the price being asked so any help knowing what I am buying into would be great.

    Thanks in advance

Did use the search function but couldn't find anything

I've heard of it happen before but it was rare and was fixed under warranty. I'd expect it to be fixed by the dealer before the sale or I'd go somewhere else.

Thanks BeefMasta, I shall try and get a repair price out of dealer and see if he can factor it into a selling price.

Must remember to buy with my head not my heart

There are plenty of other DS3s around, no matter how much the salesman wants you to buy this one.

They are just big stickers, figure 16-20 pounds per side for the parts plus installation. And as he said there are more cars out there don't get single minded about this one.

Totally agree with Beefy and cyclone, there is a lot of choice for second hand DS3s now, if the dealer doesn't want to get it repaired then go somewhere else. It would concern me that they don't want to fix something small and low cost and make me wonder how they'd respond to something more costly

I completely agree. I'm very picky and would expect a 3 year old car to be pretty much as good as new. Of course, price would factor into it. If the asking price is a bit cheaper then that's a consideration. If it's the same as every other one out there, I'd shop around.
