  • Back with a cabrio

After selling our DStyle plus 120 in November '13 my wife and I have just purchased a September '13 DSport plus cabriolet with just 4,700 miles on the clock..
I think it's quite unique as it's black with a grey patterned roof and grey alloys, looks great!
No so keen on the boot full of water though...

    Welcome back!

What issues have you had with the boot? I'm assuming some sort of leak?

How does the DSport compare to the DStyle?

Not sure what the issue with the boot is, the car could have been standing (it's only done 4,700 miles, so its done more standing than moving) but after we got it home I was cleaning the exhaust tips and noticed a drip from the boot floor. Needless to say the carpet foam was sodden and there was about half an inch of water in the spare wheel well. Everything is dry now, but I want to wash it before putting the carpet back in.
In terms of performance over the vt210, the THP155 is impressive. Loads of torque from 2k rpm upwards and of course a 6 speed 'box. It also has the hi-fi system with central dashboard speaker and sub which doesn't sound too bad (much better than the previous car). The leather feels really good quality and I think the drivers seat goes lower than it did in the DStyle (or it could just be that the bolsters are bigger).
Will post some pics once it's been polished, there are some swirl marks that need to be removed.

Thanks, yes I'd already spotted that, but assumed that as the car was manufactured after the document that these would already be fitted at production.
I'm going to call Citroen tomorrow and see what they say regarding warranty work.

            Cheers

How did you get on about getting the warranty work done. Any other leaks yet. I might be buying a Cabriolet next year.
