  • Hi - New DS3 DStyle Nav BlueHDI 100

Hi all - I'll be taking delivery of a new Dstyle Nav BlueHDI 100 later today!

It's Nera Black all over. As it doesn't has the xenon lights I've got some Philips Xtreme Vision 130% H1's and H7's, and some Blue Vision W5W's, waiting to go in. Hoping the Blue Vision won't look tacky.

Only other thing I'd like to get fairly soon is a decent boot liner - is the genuine Citroen one the way to go, or are any of the aftermarket ones actually any better?

Slightly concerned about the reports of some touchscreen emyway systems having issues with turning off when they shouldn't, but hoping this car will be a late enough build to not have that issue.

Looking forward to seeing if maybe 70-75 mpg on a normal run from London to the midlands is realistic...

welcome, you've got the same model as me. Not had any issues on it yet, but only covered a 1000 miles. Fuel consumption isn't very good tbh. I've done a few longish journeys and only got a maximum of 63mpg and locally start stop driving getting 47 at the moment. Really how it improves as the fuel consumption was the reason I went for it...

Cheers - I think 65mpg on a longer journey is what I'm probably hoping for realistically. Most of my journeys will be longish trips escaping London at weekends. No doubt the economy will improve as the engine frees up a bit. Mine's only on a year's lease so it will probably be nicely run in by the time I hand it back.

I'll be using Fuelly to keep track of consumption and fuel costs - http://www.fuelly.com/car/citroen/ds...lackds3/406983

Yeah I was expecting about 60 round town as it's advertised at 78mpg. You could be right about the engine freeing up.. Hope so

Unfortunately advertised urban figures are the hardest to achieve in reality. I think the only way you'd get near 60mpg around town is with a hybrid. On the motorway or a clear A-road there can be a good chance of getting near the extra-urban figure - it mainly comes down to driving style and how disciplined you can be.

The BlueVision sidelights actually give off a white light. I had them in my first DS3.
I've got the genuine Citroën boot liner in my current car and it's ok. I was expecting it to be solid plastic but it's not rigid.

Thanks - I just fitted all the new bulbs this afternoon and they seem a good match and as you say side lights aren't blue at all when lit.

Like the car but bit disappointed as the nav system does have the random shut down problem! There was me thinking a brand new car would be problem free....

Cheers - took a while to get my head around imgur! Lost a lot of resolution in the auto re-size it seems. Any idea what's generally the best way to go about it?

Lovely car... And exactly the same as my car which I got three weeks ago!

Hope you have as much fun with it as I'm having with mine!
