Car is booked into dealer to get touchscreen emyway updated and hopefully enable Apple Car Play

TLDR: did first proper drive, great car - love it, 65mpg, stop start works fine (but only when car comes to a halt?)

Long version (got carried away):
Well the car had its first proper outing yesterday evening with a 125 mile-ish trip up to the Midlands. Really enjoyed driving it - it's a great cruiser considering the size, and I love having the option of cruise control or speed limiter as each is better in different circumstances I find.

Seats comfortable, stereo really good (and wasn't cutting out last night) and headlights very effective (with new bulbs). Also like the black panel setting for dark unlit roads.

Only able to go by the trip computer so far, but the average readout door to door was just over 65mpg which I'm very pleased with in a car which had 15 miles on the clock. The route involved quite a few hills and wasn't just motorway too, plus I had the AC climate control on to make sure the AC got a bit of a run in!

Oh and stop-start began working about 5 mins into the journey.

A query though as I thought I'd read in the manual that the engine would stop if you were in neutral, foot off clutch and car was under 12mph - eg if you rolled up to a red light? (Mine would only stop when the car came to complete stop).

I have 165 thp with s/start and this only operates once completely stationary , my previously ds3 diesel would work when below about 12 mph , must be a feature of the new cars from Citroën.

Mine works only when the car's fully stationary. The power steering doesn't work when the engine's off so I've just assumed they didn't want that happening if the car's still moving.

I don't actually know anything about CarPlay. What exactly does it do and which phones does it work with?

Works with all iPhones from 5 and newer. Lets you do the most common things without having to use the phone, with an Apple interface and Siri. Apple probably do a better job at explaining it than me... http://www.apple.com/uk/ios/carplay/

You'll probably find that you need to explain to the dealer that it is possible to enable CarPlay on a DS3, and how to do it.

Just further to this, I've posted in the CarPlay thread outlining what I asked and sent the dealer to get this enabled.
