Heyo! Just got my DS3.

Hi Guys,

Just bought my DS3 Dstyle plus after my trusty Nissan Almera bit the dust.
I can't believe there's such a big community for DS3's; I was a member of the Almera owners club and there was a few hundred of us.

I'm a big car enthusiast, I learned everything I know from the Almera and whilst I don't plan to mod my nice new DS3 just yet I haven't ruled it out for the future.

Anyway, I look forward to getting to know you all and definitely do some meetups and events (if anyone from the stoke-on-trent area wants to meetup convoy to an event that'd be pretty awesome).

Please say hello, I would love to hear from some more experienced DS3 owners.

It's a petrol, would have loved the turbo model (Dsport?) but I couldn't find any locally with reasonable mileage/price balance. Not to worry though because after having the 80hp of fury in my old car this is practically a rocketship.
Love the driving position and the handling is just the best, I did test drive the competition before I bought this (alfa mito was the other car I quite fancied) but in my opinion this blows it clean out of the water;
I love the light weight nimble feeling, it's so light! And the growl it makes in low gear pleases my inner child :redface:

Off out to the hills tomorrow for a spot of hiking so I'll get some more pics then, also needs a bit of a clean so that's tomorrow morning's task if it ever stops raining.


I may black out the chrome on the sides at some point as I'm not massively into shiny things on cars, although I do quite like the chrome grille at the front.
Bought some nice stickers from the store last night so I look forward to receiving those (on that note, where do I find my order number? Probably me being dumb I think I missed something) :lemon:

wow moonhead, how strange, Ive just joined here recently and picked up my DS3 today, I traded my Nissan Almera N16 for it, I was also a member on AOC, have been since owning my first GTi about 10 years ago
