  • Hi from the Midlands

    Hi guys,

I've had my DS3 a few months now and stumbled across this forum after googling for interesting things to do to my car.

It's still under warranty so no mods just yet (although I am looking at improving airflow to the intercooler).

It's had a couple of niggles like the rear brake rubs and there is a suspicious rattle that sounds like it's coming from inside the sill.

But it's a sweet car, probably the slowest car I've owned for some time (I have the 1.6 diesel) but it handles lovely.

Anyway, this seems like a really friendly forum so you can expect daft questions soon!

      Hello!

Hopefully you will find some answers to niggles and some inspiration for future mods

      1.6 Diesel - which bhp? all of the diesels are a 1.6 (..... I'm sure :S)

Sensible and daft, we've had them all! And all questions are answered

It's the 90bhp HDi so tuning isn't really something I'll be looking at. I might dress up the engine bay with nice hoses but there doesn't seem to be many parts about.

If I could change anything it would be the gap in the wheel arch, so first thing I'd like to do is lower it. Also I like the look of those r splitters

Tamworth, that slightly grotty but historical town north of Birmingham! Once I start to mod it, I'll look at what meets are on locally.

I see lots of DS3s around but it's hard to spot which ones might be driven by folk off here or even car enthusiasts. They are are a pretty popular car, it was easier when I drove my Alfa (you don't own one of those accident!)

Welcome along only a few miles from me then ....
You can get you 90 up to 135 ish with just a remap and if your prepared to spend the money up to 165 + mine use to run around the 135 mark .. Actually miss not having the car around now ...
by now think it would of been running nearer the 185 Bhp mark with the mods I was looking into ....
