Hi all.Just bought a 2012 110 dsport plus after going to a dealer to buy another golf tdi!. Tried the ds3 and was impressed by how well it drives and all the toys for what i paid for it. Now, first thing i want to do and soon is to get it remapped. I trust that most people on here are going to recommend sp tuning i read that this guy is the best for this sort of thing. Can anybody that has had it done on the same engine give me some impressions of the improvement of power and engine flexibility. Cheers Pete.

From what I've heard of people with the same engine, your standard remap takes you to about 140bhp and even improves your fuel economy!

Ok.Thanks guys.I dont pick the car up till monday. Its going to be the wifes car but we will both use it at weekends for a bit of fun. Love the sweet diesel engine. But then i do drive a vw pd in a mark 5 golf although quick isnt the last word in refinement. Thing thats puzzling me is what is the difference between the 110 and the 115 engine.Pictures to come when i pick her up.Cheers. Pete.

Welcome to the Club. Have driven a pre and after remap 115, a friend of mines on the way up and back to SPTuning in Leicestershire

It does make a terrific difference, think it got close to 150bhp, round 148 or something

I'm not a diesel lover as many on here know (LOL) but it was most definitely perkier on the way out of SPT
