New owner of a DS3 DSport 1.6 HDi 110bhp

Picked up the wife's new (to us) motor at the weekend. 61 plate (2012 registered) DS3 DSport 1.6 HDi 110bhp 34k

Great looking cars and the extras you get with them are awesome. Pulls like a train to for just 110bhp and that's with both me and the wife and 3 kids in the back.

Few small issues but hopefully quick fixes.

- Reverse sensors not working. They beep once then the service light comes on and a message on the display. Thats it.
- Air Con needs regassing so booked in for tomorrow
- Past 2 MOT's had advisories for the exhaust not secure. Looks like its near the back before the rubber hangers as the bracket is on the car but not atttached to the exhaust. Been welded a few times looking at it.

So there we go. Hopefully all easy fixes and the wife loves it which is the main thing.

Number 2 and 3 on your list shouldn't be too hard to solve. For number one maybe one of the sensors died and needs to be replaced.

So enjoy the diesel torque!

Very nice. You will enjoy the engine too. Had mine a year and I still love it to bits and how it really goes in the mid gears, still makes me smile... Alot!!

I've got a 600 mile round trip to do this weekend for a family wedding so will be interesting to see how it performs MPG wise and how many miles to a tank of fuel

Got my diesel on 30th June, full tank has given me just short of 600 miles....��

To get the sat nav working is it just an SD card you need? Obviously with the correct data on. One one eBay for £20 I'm tempted to buy

Exhaust is common fault
EBay sell a clamp on bracket for it

Nice choice got the same few more miles on mine and it's white with black roof. Like said above exhaust bracket known thing, some garages might well weld the exhaust bracket for free if you're like getting a service or mot with them. Welcome to the club.

Update - Went to get air con done today at the couldn't do it as it had a leak somewhere. They Vacum tested it and it wasn't holding. Booked in again next week for a master technician to look at it. I have a feeling I'm going to get a stupid bill!
