For a racing, a forged engine is a good start if you're in it for the long haul - it'll prevent it going boom on you like some have. It's very expensive though (£4000+), so you may avoid this.

A larger front mount intercooler is a must, as the stock intercooler is tiny. Airtec, Forge, Seat Sport Cupra all options.

Catch cans on front and side to catch oil blow-by when both on boost and off boost.

Induction and exhaust if you want more noise and freer breathing. There's a huge variety of providers here.

And THEN, if looking to improve power, remap will take it over 230bhp/300nm - SPTuning is the club's go-to for anything DS3. Jamie also has a Racing to sell with forged internals so.....

And if you want more than that, hybrid turbo - Mamba or Frankenturbo. Possibly MINI JCW but I can't remember if that's the same size as the Racing turbo. At this stage, higher flow manifolds and more aggressive cams might be something you'd look at too.

There's loads of options, I'll let the experts go further with advice though.

Yes mines still for sale....it's forged already and barely ran in.
Has Milltek sports cat and full stainless exhaust.
It's on BCRacing Coilovers which are fully adjustable.
Wheels are like new, no scuffs etc. Tyres all nearly new.
      New discs and pads.
Very tidy all round with absolutely no faults.
This car was the actual Pistoheads roadtested car back in 2011. There isn't a better racing around for the money. Just needs a wash [emoji23]

      Number plate included
      PM me for more info
