I sold it as I no longer needed a diesel as I only drive 12k miles a year now compared to more than twice that when I owned the DS3. I loved the DSport+ trim levels as well.
Tempted to see Jamie myself for a cheeky remap. I have the 1.6 HDi 110 and it does pull well now. Would put a grin on my face after a remap I would think. I find low down the gear range driving slowly around town etc can be a pig in these cars.

        Hi Guys

Sorry for the being lax in replying to the posts - been a lot on at work at the end of last week and this week

Hopefully it'll quiet down next week and I can get a bit more time to spend here.

          OLD NAMES
DSign - Entry level trim, 1.2 and 1.4 petrol/diesel engines
DSire - Entry level features with 1.6 engines (I think)
          DStyle - Mid level trim, 1.6 petrol (120bhp) or 1.6 Diesel (90bhp)
DStyle Plus - As above but with higher spec features e.g. auto wipers, auto lights, 17 inch alloys
DSport - Mid level trim, 17 inch alloys, optional leather seats, 1.6 turbo petrol (150/155bhp) or 1.6 diesel (110/115bhp)
DSport Plus - As above but with higher spec features
Racing - Limited edition 1.6 turbo petrol with 197-207bhp depending on year

          NEW NAMES
Elegance - Entry level trim, 1.2 turbo petrol (110bhp) or 1.6 diesel (120bhp)
Prestige - Mid level trim, 1.2 turbo petrol (110bhp or 130bhp) or diesel as above
Ultra Prestige - High trim level, 1.6 turbo petrol (165bhp) or diesel as above
Performance - Basically the same as the Racing but a full production model
Mines a Prestige, not Ultra and its a 165THP

65 plate, one of the first DS built 3s so that might have something to do with it.

It used to be an option, yes. Might still be actually, just haven't checked.

Been a while since the last post, but since that time apart from work there have been a lot of cars looked at- mostly in the car supermarkets (easier to get a feel for them without someone breathing down your neck)
SWMBO said it is going to be petrol, 130, in yellow or purple. I thought we had it sorted, but all of a sudden it changed to a diesel blue 120 in white with black roof prestige trim. I hope the 120 has a bit of poke.
I think what got her is that its 15 months old, 5k on the clock, Sat Nav, sensors front and back etc etc.
It could change as we a going to see it at the weekend – anything I should keep my eye out for and any specific test I should do.

On the diesel additive – how may miles can you expect (I realise that it most probably depends on driving style.

Insurance, anything available via the forum?

                  Well then,

Went have a test drive and it been decided it's the for her. So into the office to pay and sort the documentation..........and..........it all screams to a shuddering halt.

Er.........sorry madam you have the wrong V5C.

What do you mean the wrong one......

it should be red, not blue.

Most of you will be aware of this ....my 62 plate has one, but not the 53 plate Alfa. Doing phone call in the morning to sort it out.

The Alfa is back home for the moment.....so her trauma of letting go needs to gone through by her yet again.
