Helloooooo! I've been mooching round the site for a bit now and thought it was time to sign up.

Waiting on my new Dsport now. Got an email last Thursday (28th April) from Citroen saying my car's left the factory and is on its way.

Just wondering if anyone knows how long it might take to arrive here cos I'm dying to get my hands on it. Also, I've been looking at spec lists and I can't work out whether the DSport still comes with the HiFi System as standard. I only listen to music to drown out the rattles in the C2 so it's not that important, I'd just like to know for sure. And what's this mood lighting that I've heard about? Can't find any mention of that from Citroen.

This is my third car and my third Citroen. Currently have a C2 Code but I've had my eye on the DS3 since I saw the DSInside. Can't wait!

I'm thinking of a remap but other than that, it'll stay fairly standard.

Well I had a little bit of a blast in my C2 against a DS3 150THP (the speed limit was 50mph then 70mph so I wasn't doing anything naughty ) and there was literally nothing, and I do mean nothing, between the performance which confused me a bit. Surely the DS3 should have been a little faster. I think a remap may be in order after that.

Mood lighting sounds a bit daft lol. With regards to the HiFi System...I've seen that when the DS3 was new it did come with it but now, from what I've read, I'm not so sure. I believe you if you say so though!

The DS3 drive must of been pants! Erm, my THP took 1 week from leaving the factory to arriving at the dealer, so it could be anything between 7 days and 18 days max.

Even so, the code's what? 120BHP? The torgue the THP is putting out is bound to be much higher than that in the C2.

I blame the driver When it arrives you'll notice the difference straight away. Definitely look at getting it remapped too.

A common misconception, the DS3 THP is 115kw, which is nearly 156bhp! Even then, people have reported that theirs makes more than that, think Japanese cars in the 90's.... Skyline 280bhp (320bhp) etc etc,it's probably something to do with tax or something

i find this very hard to believe...(c2 keeping up with thp0 my mate had a c2 gt when i firs got my THP and i was gone.......that was before it had been broken in.

mine has since been rolling road tested and it is running a nice 166bhp.....

Either way you will be very happy with your purchase my friend!

Def look at speaking to forge for induction kit boost pipes etc....i did and the power gain is amazing!! and sounds siiick!!

GT is 110bhp, Code is 125bhp.

I wasn't expecting the DS3 to be miles faster but I thought it might have pulled away above about 45mph with the extra torque. I put it down to the drivers. Still, I can't wait! Looking forward to the torque for the motorway cos that's where the C2's performance falls down.

I don't really want to go down the route of replacing parts but a remap and filter sounds alright. What's fuel economy like after a remap and what sort of power/torque will I be looking at?

Rickzayne, I'm in Bromley Cross. Nipped in to BCC Bolton today and they said usually around 7-10 working days from the email for delivery but they've got it marked down for the end of May. Just have to wait and see! This is TORTURE!
