    Hi guys,

I should have known better but I did it. Picked up my shiny new cherry red, black roofed 150THP DS3 yesterday (Friday 13th May)....

Today, engine fault light comes on and no turbo. Back to the dealer, reset fault, started engine, ligh back on. So, another trip to the dealer is needed Monday. I had only done 17 miles :-( but I did enjoy each and every one of them.

Part exd my 7 yo RX8 which was becoming a bit lumpy when cold and reluctant to start when warm. Was also only getting 200 miles on a 60 litre fill, so it was definitely time for a change.

DS3 certainly looks great, plenty of kit and fun to drive. Such a shame I couldn't have waited another day...LOL
On the plus side, fuel consumption is superb whilst the engine management light is on, so I guess I am saving money!!!

Happier days ahead I am sure.

thats rubbish. only reason the turbo wasnt going on as the car had put itsself into safe mode so to speak. it will be a sensor or somthing no doubt

I agree, any sensor or valve failing on a car in less than 20 miles is rubbish! Especially if you are the owner of aforementioned car!!!!! But I am hopefull this is a rare event and as I said, am looking forward to many happy miles of motoring.

Yippee.....thanks for the welcomes......and it is good to be back.
Dealer picked up Monday and back early Tuesday. Problem was apparently with the high pressure fuel pump!!! They replaced it and tonight was out to have a little fun. Syill trying to bed the engine in.....although not sure if that is really needed according to the posts on here but.....taking it relatively easy for the first couple of hundred miles.
Certainly worth the wait......sticks to the road well....and pick up is impressive......even compared to my old RX8. The Mazda had to be revved hard to get decent acceleration......my little 150THP hits 2000rpm, turbo kicks in and wow!
Was also getting only 18 mpg from mixed driving in the RX8 and with a range of 400 miles from a full tank in the DS3, the saving in fuel costs alone is almost paying for the car.
I am glad to be back, happy now and long may it continue.
PS praise to Freeborn Citroen, I tried not to be too angry and you were very apologetic.
