Hi everyone,

Took delivery of my Dsport 1.6 THP just over a week and a half ago and without doubt its one of the best cars I have owned.
However in true tradition for me, it wont be staying stock for long. Have never owned a car that I havent modded in some way or another.

Hope to see some of you at meets in the future.

What plans you got for it?

Plans are a remap for starters.
Next I will look at the induction and exhaust then move onto the engine. As it is the same 1.6 turbo as the cooper S I'm hoping that it wont be long before a fast road cam becomes available.
Doubt that the cooper one would fit without mapping issues.
Will also look at lowering it a bit and add some suspension strut braces if/once OMP manufacturer them. Fitted a front upper and lower set to my traded in Fiat 500 and what a change they made in its handling.
Given the suspected power increase then the brakes might need some attention though the stock ones are pretty good as they are.

Username came about during the test drive when the salesman said that they had blown a cooper s off at the lights a couple of days back and this was a real "cooper killer". As I was slightly wrecked when I joined at stupid o'clock the quote came back to me and the rest is history.
